Lactation Visit
Meet with Kim through It’s More Than Milk for a 90 minute in home or in office lactation visit. In office visits will be in the It’s More Than Milk Westgate or Round Rock offices.
IBCLCs are the gold standard in lactation care and educate, assess latch and positioning, weight gain, pumping, flange fitting, oral function, create feeding plans and more. We also collaborate with your pediatrician and other health care providers to ensure continuity of care.
Kim is an infant feeding specialist and IBCLC candidate. She has completed University of California at San Diego’s Lactation Consultant: Pathway 2 program, and has over 500 clinical hours working directly with breast/chestfeeding dyads under the supervision of an IBCLC. She will be sitting for the IBCLC board exam in Fall 2026.
All visits with Kim are private pay only; a lactation super bill will be provided for families to submit to their insurance provider.
Weekend visits through Austin Doula Care will not provide a super bill.
Latch Check
Meet with Chelsea, a Certified Lactation Counselor, for this 45-60 minute in home latch check. Latch checks are meant to help you have the most comfort possible while breast/bodyfeeding.
In this visit, Chelsea will educate, assist with positioning, help identify why there is pain, and if necessary refer to an IBCLC if needed.
